Obamacare Just Won’t Go Away

by Charles on August 31, 2009

Apparently the White House and Democrat leaders are too excited about the power they will have if they can somehow ram government health care through Congress that they don’t care what the voters think. They had hoped to rush the bill through before the people could learn what it would mean to them.

Now it seems that most voters at town hall meetings are more familiar with the bill than the politicians. At least that is the way they are acting. However, this government run health care will target us seniors to the extent that we can’t overlook it.

The House bill plans to cut Medicare payments by $500 Billion over 10 years. With baby boomers reaching age 65 the number of seniors covered by Medicare will dramatically increase during this time. So the only way to cover more people and still reduce cost that much is by significant health care rationing.

Obama already plans to cut Medicare payments to cardiologists and cancer specialists by 40%. After all, why should the elderly need to worry  about their hearts or cancer? It seems that Obama has already end of life planning for many of us.

Another issue that the politicians promoting the bill are trying to avoid is tax payer funded abortions. They will not give a clear answer to this question but if the bill does not specifically prohibit funding for these abortions, you can be sure that tax payers will be paying for them.

It seems these politicians are intent on thinning out the population at both ends of the life cycle.

I want to thank all of you who are standing up to be heard because you are being heard no matter how hard they are trying to ignore you. The quality of our life and the freedom to maintain our life is not something we should trust to others lightly.
