Obama’s Health Care speech could have been a good opportunity to find some middle ground to form a decent health care bill but he continued to distort and misrepresent the same bill the people have already spoken out against. Obama still makes claims for the bill that defy all common sense.
Seniors are still targeted since the only way government can contain costs is aggressive health care rationing. There is no way to provide coverage to the alleged 45 million uninsured without massive tax increases and rationing of medicare.
Obama claimed that the door to his office is always open but in reality, he has refused to meet with republicans on health care since April. One republican representative got so frustrated with all of Obama’s false claims that he stood up and called him a liar. Many of us also share his outrage.
Some democrats are boasting that they are just going ahead to use the “reconciliation rule” (the nuclear option) which only requires 51 votes to pass Obamacare. This is not the kind of legislation the reconciliation rule covers but they think they may get away with it.
Don’t let this new push fool you. This is the same bill they tried to ram through in July and it is our head they are wanting to put on the chopping block. Don’t go quietly we deserve better.
