News has just come out this morning on an Insurance Industry audit about the cost of health coverage under the health reform bill due to be voted on tomorrow. The audit was prepared by Price Waterhouse Coopers and found that health care premiums for a family of 4 will increase by $4,000 more per year under the proposed plan by 2019.
Hospitals are also voicing concerns about being able to provide adequate care under the reform bill. The vast majority of physicians are also still very much opposed to this reform bill and many are considering retirement if it passes.
If the health care reform bill was anything close to what the supporters want us to believe, it would be welcomed by the insurance companies, hospitals and doctors. Even the U. S. Catholic Bishops are objecting to the bill because it provides for tax payer funded abortions.
The major cost cuts are still targeted on Medicare which means seniors will see significant cuts to the health care services they will be allowed.
These are all reasons the democrats refused to post the bill on the internet for the public to examine. They still want to rush it through before people realize just how bad it really is. Government run health care will simply not be the solution to our health problems, it will simply become a bigger mess providing inferior care.
If you have a voice with your representatives, now is the time to let them know how you feel. Let us hope there are still a few that will listen.
