More Health Care Confusion

by Charles on August 19, 2009

One of the most frustrating problems with Obama’s Health Care program is that everyday we are told it means something other than what HR3200 states. It seems that many politicians promoting the plan are confused, but the majority of our population has already figured it out.

CBS reported this weekend that since AARP came out in support of Obama’s plan that they have lost over 60,000 members. Seniors realize they are being targeted for health care rationing to cut costs and don’t look forward to end of life counseling measures.

For what seems to be a blatant grasp for power, the democrats want to ram government health care down our throats as fast as possible. If this is such good health care, why have the politicians excluded themselves from it?

New York Rep. Eric Massa is on video stating that he will back single payer health care no matter what his constituents want. Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee was talking on her cell phone while a cancer patient was trying to express her concerns during a town hall meeting. With this kind of attitude among our elected representatives, its no surprise this health plan is so dictatorial.

Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley has stated that the purpose of end of life counseling is to cut cost. Roughly 80% of the nations health care costs are spent on the elderly and that is why seniors will be a major target for cuts with Obama Care.

Obama has already stated in many cases a pain pill will be prescribed instead of surgery. He has also stated FedEx and UPS are more successful than the US Postal Service. If the government can’t do a good job delivering the mail, do you think they’ll do better managing your health care? Look at how well they have done with the economy and their stimulus plan.

Now is the time to wake up and let your feelings be known to your representatives. It is becoming obvious we are not going to get the truth from Obama until its too late.
