I hope all you mothers are able to enjoy a very happy Mother’s Day. So many of us over 50 not only have mothers but children and grandchildren to celebrate with today.
Myself and many of my friends have mothers who are in their eighties. They need a lot of extra care but we appreciate them more knowing they won’t be with us that much longer. I hope you get the same appreciation as a mother to
day regardless of your age.
If you are a mother who has children who aren’t able to be with you because they are in the military, I want to thank you. Most of us deeply respect them and appreciate their sacrifice. Hopefully they will be back to you soon.
Enjoy your day and make the most of it. Tomorrow it will probably be more laundry and cooking. After all you’re a Mom.
