Be Fit For Spring

by Charles on February 26, 2008

Its a shame to get out to the park, golf course or start gardening as soon as the weather permits and injure yourself because joints have stiffened or become weak over the winter.

I’m a senior plus I provide care for a parent whose health is very fragile. It amazes me how much a little exercise or stretching can improve her condition.

Stretching and enough exercise to avoid stiffness also makes me feel a lot more fit and healthy during the winter. I have to cater to my back and knees or they ambush me.

If you can go mall walking or just do some exercise in your home when you have time, it may help you be fit and ready for the things you really look forward to this Spring. Being over 50 doesn’t mean we have to give up the activities we enjoy but it is important to put in some effort to stay fit enough to keep active.

These are things we all know we should do but something more important always seems to pop up. Don’t pay the price for putting it off this year.
